Nord Anglia International School New York (NAISNY) has officially opened its new Gramercy campus, marking a major milestone in the school’s growth and commitment to world-class, personalized education. The modern facility, located at 111 E 22nd Street, replaces the school’s former Lower East Side location and is just steps away from Madison Square Park.
Conveniently situated one block from the 23 Street station on the 6 train and a short walk from Union Square, the campus offers expanded, thoughtfully arranged spaces designed to support strong academics, student well-being, and global citizenship.
According to a press release on NYC Newswire, Jimmy Frawley, Principal of NAISNY stated, “The energy and excitement among students and faculty alike is palpable as you walk the halls of our new building, ” Frawley added, “Our Gramercy campus gives us space to grow while preserving the warm, close-knit, high-expectations culture our families have come to love. This marks the beginning of the next chapter of our journey—and we couldn’t be more excited for what our students will accomplish here.”
The opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 12, attended by school leadership, Nord Anglia Education regional leaders, faculty, students, and families. Community partners and special guests were also present, including British Consul Deputy General Mel Lawrance, who shared remarks before cutting the red ribbon at the front doors.
The event highlighted NAISNY’s strong connections to both the local community and its international education network.
With its new location, NAISNY continues to expand its globally focused programs, enhanced through collaborations with world-class institutions such as MIT, The Juilliard School, IMG Academy, and UNICEF. These partnerships, combined with small class sizes and personalized learning, give students unique opportunities to excel in STEAM, performing arts, athletics, and social impact projects.
“NAISNY’s beautiful new home underscores Nord Anglia’s commitment to provide an exceptional learning environment where our students can flourish and grow,” said Mitch Salerno, Managing Director, Nord Anglia Education. “We’re proud to invest in this campus that supports our deep commitment to both academic excellence and the well-being of our students and educators.”
