NYC Health + Hospitals has launched its new season of farmers markets, bringing affordable fresh produce directly to patients, staff, visitors, and the wider community at hospital campuses and health centers throughout the five boroughs.
The markets are operated by local partners GrowNYC, Harvest Home, Mi Ranchito Farm, and Uptown Grand Central. They provide convenient access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables at affordable prices. Multiple payment options are accepted, including EBT/SNAP, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) coupons, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) coupons.
In addition, GrowNYC’s Fresh Food Box program operates year-round at NYC Health + Hospitals/Carter, offering seasonal produce at below-market prices through bulk purchasing. To learn more or sign up, visit: https://www.grownyc.org/foodbox/.
