JIG Media recently developed CentralBrooklynJazz.org as the new digital media home of the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium (CBJC).
CentralBrooklynJazz.org is more than just a website; it’s a destination for all things jazz in Central Brooklyn, and beyond. As part of the overall digital media marketing strategy, CBJC events, programs and initiatives will be promoted on NYC Newswire, which is the only newswire service dedicated to New York City events, businesses and organizations.
CBJC was looking for a new digital media platform, but they were also searching for a way to constantly reach jazz enthusiasts throughout Brooklyn. Additionally, CBJC wants to reach the casual jazz fan, as well as those who never experienced live jazz.
CBJC is one of those hidden gems in the community. They are well known among jazz enthusiasts, but they have not received their proper acclaim within the community at-large. CBJC owns the Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival, which features some of the top jazz musicians in New York City. The festival is entering its 19th year in 2018, and begins in April 2018.
Vernon Jones, Sr, CEO of JIG Media, stated, “my brothers are jazz lovers, so I have a personal connection to jazz. When we had the opportunity to work on the development of the CBJC digital media strategy I was excited to bring our marketing expertise to the table. We believe CentralBrooklynJazz.org will be the go-to platform for live jazz information in New York City, not just in Brooklyn. We expect their membership to grow, and more importantly, we expect the love for jazz to grow among the younger generations.”
CentralBrooklynJazz.com includes profiles of jazz musicians, venues, events, and information about organizations that support live jazz. You will also find information about live jazz performances, programs for youth, and information on becoming a member of CBJC.
